How to Earn CEU's

  • You can earn CEUs toward your certification renewal in a variety of ways.

  • Participate in SNA state affiliate-approved educational programs

  • Attend workshops and seminars

  • Attend state and national conferences

  • Complete home study/correspondence courses

  • Complete online courses on SNA’s Learning Center at www.schoolnutrition.org/learningcenter

  • Complete Professional Development Articles (PDAs) in School Nutrition magazine

  • or state PDA’s

  • Participate in study group meetings to review and discuss at least two foodservice/

  • management-related articles

  • Participate in Personal Wellness programs

  • Participate in Webinars/Satellite Teleconferences

  • Teach a course - first time only

  • Publish an article in a national journal/magazine

  • Earn a High School Diploma or GED during your renewal period before July 1, 2012

  • Attend Exhibits/Food Shows

  • Teach Classroom Nutrition Lesson

  • Participate in Back to School Workshops

  • Participate in Point of Sale Training

  • Attend Blood Borne Pathogens Workshops
